Every year on 3rd of March, the entire world celebrates World Wildlife Day to spread awareness regarding sustainable practices for conserving biodiversity.

Every year on 3rd of March, the entire world celebrates World Wildlife Day to spread awareness regarding sustainable practices for conserving biodiversity.

The day also encourages awareness about wildlife and their habitats. For this year, the theme for World Wildlife Day is “Connecting People and Planet: Exploring Digital Innovation in Wildlife Conservation”.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also greeted the wildlife enthusiasts on World Wildlife Day today. Mr Modi appreciated all those who are at the forefront of sustainable practices and supporting wildlife conservation efforts.

Moreover, India’s Union Cabinet Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Bhupender Yadav, urged people to celebrate the incredible diversity of Earth’s flora and fauna and raise awareness about the importance of conservation on this World Wildlife Day.

Mr Yadav further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is making rich use of digital innovation for wildlife protection and ensuring man-animal coexistence.
