In the intra-day session, Sensex hit the new milestone of 70,000 mark to reach an all time high of 70,052 while Nifty also registered a record high of 21,026.

Strong macroeconomic data, on the domestic front, along with hopes that the Federal Reserve is done raising rates is reflected on the indices’ rally.
