In 2025, Pitra Paksha (Shraddh Paksha) will begin on Sunday, 7th September 2025, and conclude on Tuesday, 16th September 2025.
This sacred period is dedicated to honoring our ancestors through Shraddh, Tarpan, and Pind Daan.


Spiritual Importance of Pitra Paksha

  1. Gratitude to Ancestors – It is believed that ancestors (Pitru) visit Earth during these days, and Shraddh rituals help express gratitude.
